Architect

Architects create technical and artistic architectural designs and plans for realisation of buildings, interiors or entire zones. They also frequently supervise realisation of construction work.

Sales Director

This position represents the construction company or development project. This position identifies and develops business opportunities on the specific market. In cooperation with the company’s management this position prepares and subsequently carries out business plans, and takes part in the preparation and inspection of marketing strategies. This position has knowledge of the entire supplier chain, remains in contact with suppliers and continues to develop these existing relationships. It thinks up strategies for entering new markets or promoting new products, possibly sale of new developer projects. It regularly monitors sales results, performance of plans and the profitability of individual customers.

Civil Engineer

Determines technological procedures for or ensures technological preparation of construction work subject to stricter technological requirements. Manages construction of more extensive structures or more complicated structures, and assures and coordinates realisation, assessment and evaluation of construction and investment units.

Construction Technician /Supervisor

This position is responsible for the implementation of construction contracts. A Construction Technician / Supervisor coordinates construction workers, controls health and safety at work and fire safety, and ensures the accuracy of technological procedures. His/her superior is usually the construction manager.

Facility Manager

Is responsible for the problem-free operation of buildings entrusted to his/her care. Provides daily maintenance and resolves emergencies which may arise. Is also responsible for audits and certification of various equipment according to the law.

Preparation and Cost Manager

Is responsible for preparing documents for tenders and possibly also prepares budgets for bids. Selects sub-contractors and prepares contractual relationships with them. Assures supplies of material for the construction work according to the time schedule. Prepares all the documents necessary for the occupancy permit.

Project designer

Workers in this position create technical plans of individual buildings in the project programme. They may also supervise construction work as author supervision, for the purpose of verifying the compliance of the realised construction work with the project documentation. The project designer may also execute other stages of project documentation, e. g. documentation necessary for planning, documentation for contracting the construction work or documentation for realising the construction work.

Project Manager

Is responsible for the construction project from the phase of its acquisition up to its full completion and the correction of potential deficiencies. Is responsible for the project from the aspect of personnel, finances and deadlines. Communicates with investors with regard to their requirements and negotiates terms.

Sales Representative

Acquires new customers and cares for existing customers. Has the relevant technical knowledge enabling him/her to advise customers on the best solution to their specific problem. Is responsible for meeting sales plans.

Site Manager

Is responsible for the coordination and quality of construction work on the construction site. Is also responsible for work by workers and foremen, for adherence to deadlines, communication with sub-contractors and receipt of materials. Keeps records of the relevant documentation for the purpose of the above-mentioned administration in the form of construction logbooks, for example.

Structural Engineer

The Structural Engineer proposes load-bearing structures and performs construction procedures so that they comply with the requirements for safety and functionality with regard to the valid legislation. The output of the structural engineer’s work is a structural calculation. Successful completion of a university degree specialising in structural engineering and dynamics of building structures is a requirement for this profession. If additional conditions are met, structural engineers can obtain authorisation enabling them to append an authorisation stamp to structural calculations and projects.

Expansion Manager

He/she seeks new opportunities in defined locations for the construction and physical expansion of the company's network. He/she will define the optimal requirements for the selected land/space to align with the company's strategy, including infrastructure availability, size, utilities and location.
